Let Your Journey Begin!
Hello Ladies, I’m LaSheena Renee McBride. I’m a Healthcare Professional, Faith-Based Coach, and Entrepreuneur.
I believe some of our greatest wisdom comes from the experiences we’ve lived through. My passion is helping women recognize the lessons within their experiences, prioritize their well-being, strengthen their confidence, embrace their purpose, and create lives that feel intentional and aligned. Through LaSheena’s Life Lessons, I remind women that they don’t have to have everything figured out. Sometimes, you simply need a safe space to pause, reflect, learn, and take your next step.

[Begin Your Life Lessons Journey Today!
I have been an entrepreneur since 2013, and my journey has been filled with starts, stops, pivots, reinvention, growth, and plenty of life lessons along the way.
I have started a business, stopped a business, rebranded a business, and ended one again. I have had moments when things worked and moments when they did not. I have had to make difficult decisions, start over, figure things out as I went, and trust myself enough to keep moving forward.
At the same time, I have sustained an organization for eight years, started a new organization, and continued to create opportunities that allow me to serve, lead, make an impact, and help others grow.
When I look back over my journey, I realize that entrepreneurship has taught me far more than how to build a business. It has taught me about resilience, identity, purpose, boundaries, leadership, relationships, decision-making, and the importance of knowing when to keep going and when it is time to let something go.
I have learned that every season has something to teach us. Some seasons stretch us. Some redirect us. Some require us to start over. And some remind us of who we are and why we started in the first place.
My journey has not been perfect, and I do not pretend to have everything figured out. What I do have is experience, perspective, wisdom gained through living, and a willingness to share the lessons I have learned along the way.
That is the heart behind LaSheena’s Life Lessons.
The Life Lesson I learned as an entrepreneur: You need a team to grow and sustain a business. Although God gives you the vision, you need a team to bring it to fruition. Even Jesus had 12 disciplines to bring forth God's vision.
I created this space to share the lessons that life, entrepreneurship, leadership, caregiving, relationships, faith, and personal growth have taught me. Through coaching, speaking, and authentic conversations, I help women pause, reflect, grow, and move forward with greater clarity and intention.
Because sometimes the lesson is found in the beginning. Sometimes it is found in the ending. And sometimes the greatest lesson is learning that you have the courage to begin again.
I have been a healthcare professional since 2014, and healthcare has been one of the most rewarding, purposeful, and challenging parts of my journey.
I have spent my career working in dialysis, a specialized area of healthcare that has given me the opportunity to serve individuals and families navigating chronic health challenges. I was exposed to dialysis when I became the primary caregiver of my mother. Working in dialysis has allowed me to witness the strength, resilience, vulnerability, and determination that come with managing a long-term health condition.
I genuinely enjoy the work that I do and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the people I serve. At the same time, I have learned that healthcare can be both rewarding and burdensome. It requires compassion, patience, knowledge, emotional strength, and the ability to show up for others even when the work itself can be demanding.
My experience in healthcare has taught me that people are more than their diagnosis or circumstances. Every person has a story, a family, fears, hopes, responsibilities, and a life outside of the healthcare setting. Sometimes what someone needs most is not another instruction, but someone who will listen, encourage them, meet them where they are, and remind them that they are capable of taking the next step.
Working in dialysis has also deepened my understanding of the importance of education, advocacy, self-care, and taking an active role in your own well-being. It has shaped the way I see health and wellness and has influenced the way I support others.
My years in healthcare have become an important part of who I am as a coach. They have given me a unique perspective on the connection between our physical health, emotional well-being, daily habits, and quality of life.
The Life Lesson I learned as a healthcare professional: Health is Wealth. Without good health, nothing else matters. Healthcare is not simply a career for me. It is an experience that has shaped my heart for people, strengthened my desire to see and given me lessons that I carry into every area of my life and my work through LaSheena’s Life Lessons.
Woman of Faith
As a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, my walk with God has been filled with lessons, growth, challenges, and moments that have strengthened my faith.
My faith has not always looked like having all the answers or knowing exactly what God was doing. There have been seasons when I had to trust Him when I could not see the outcome, wait when I wanted to move, and let go when I wanted to hold on. Through every season, God has continued to teach me about trust, obedience, patience, purpose, grace, and surrender.
I have learned that faith is not the absence of challenges. It is learning how to walk through those challenges with God. It is believing that even when life does not make sense, God is still present and working.
My relationship with God has shaped the woman I am, the decisions I make, the way I serve others, and the way I understand my purpose. My experiences have taught me that sometimes God uses our greatest challenges to develop our greatest lessons, and sometimes the seasons we would never choose become the seasons that grow us the most.
I am still growing. I am still learning. I am still being shaped by my faith and by the experiences God allows me to walk through.
As a woman of faith, I understand that my life is not just about what I accomplish. It is also about who I am becoming, how I serve, how I love, how I lead, and how I use what I have experienced to encourage someone else.
The Life Lesson I learned as a Woman of Faith: Put your complete faith and trust in God. My faith is a foundational part of LaSheena’s Life Lessons. It influences the way I coach, speak, encourage, and connect with others. I believe our faith can provide a foundation for navigating life's transitions, discovering purpose, and becoming the woman God has called us to be.
